Gateway Montessori School is seeking a Lead Guide for a small, established 6-12 elementary
classroom beginning at the end of August 2023 through December 2023.
This position is a temporary position to cover family leave. Daily start and end times may be
flexible. Current or former AMI Montessori elementary teachers, current teachers in training,
and those with AMS certification will be considered.
Founded in 2006, Gateway Montessori is a small, family centered AMI recognized school on
Chicago’s Northwest side. Our new building has great access to public transportation and major
highways.
Our current classroom of 10 children consists of mostly lower elementary children
from our neighborhood. Gateway offers competitive salary, paid time off for professional days, sick days, and all major holidays.
