We seek an experienced and enthusiastic Lower Elementary Montessori Teacher to work with students aged 6-9 years. The candidate would co-teach alongside a lead teacher for SY2025-26 and plan to become the Lead Teacher in a new lower elementary classroom for SY2026-27. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are enthusiastic about providing a hands-on, engaging learning experience for young children while getting to know a new community. 

Responsibilities: 
• Co-plan and co-teach lessons aligned with the curriculum for students in grades 1st-3rd. 
• Support the lead teacher in classroom management, instruction, and assessment. 
• Facilitate small group instruction to meet the needs of individual students. 
• Provide individualized support for students with varying academic and social-emotional needs. 
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, respect, and curiosity. 
• Promote positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly and effectively regarding student progress and development. 
• Contribute to creating and implementing student accommodations and interventions as needed. 
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events. 
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning space. 
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and holistic educational experience. 
• Participate in ongoing professional development and Montessori training Qualifications: 
• Montessori Lower Elementary Certification (AMI or AMS) is required. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Montessori classroom, preferably with Lower Elementary-aged children. 
• A deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and practices. 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
• Strong commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture. 
• Ability to collaborate with a team of educators and staff. 
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential. 

Job Type: Full-time 
Pay: $36,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year Benefits:
